Xristos Tsoukas from Past to Present
A documentary based on the life of my first cousin in Greece. Congratulations Xristo!!!
I have known Xristo since I was born, we are not only first cousins but were best friends during our childhood. We grew far apart of each other but regardless of the distance we have remained close.
I have always admired his intelligence and his dedication to all of his interests. As a matter of fact, I had an open connection with Xristos on my radio show in Santorini, there we discussed various themes concerning ancient Greeks among other things.
In this web site I have published many of his poems especially those that he wrote with me being his muse.
Xristos has written many books, some of which are still for sale in Greece. One of my favourites is “Hidden treasures of Greece” in this particular book he dedicates a chapter to my father with events that took place during WWII. My second favorite is Ancient Women, it is incredible how many women were philosophers, Mathematicians, writers, priestess, warriors, soldiers, etc. etc. etc.
Bravo Xristo I am so proud of you and especially because finally you are being recognized as a poet and a writer.

This documentary portrait describes the life of an itinerant poet and writer who for several years lived together with other mutual friends in an apartment in the area of Agios Panteleimon Acharnon.
This apartment was donated to them shortly before a friend of theirs, the poet Nina Zisopoulou, passed away.
Xristos is a guy who likes to go around the neighborhoods shopping in the shops of the foreign refugees and chat with them, and he also likes to recite poems.
In the documentary that we will see Christos describes his childhood life his adolescence and the difficult years that have passed; today he is an old man and we see Xristos in his current daily life as an itinerant literary skeptic.
