Isolated

Music and Lyrics written for Bianca by Tim Gallop in Peterborough fall of 1986 about 2 weeks after a car accident that we were in (I was driving and the steering wheel broke and we went upside down across the road and missed a cement block by an inch) on the way to my graduation party after convocation.

I was wondering ragged

Just a few hours before dawn

Mind was tripping light speed

My feet plodded on

And you got that record to make it through your darkest night

When the tears are rolling down your face

It sure feels alright. (music said)

 Chorus: You’re so isolated

            But you have been created

To love, my beautiful, so sensitive

           You’re so isolated

           But you have been created

          To love, to love.

She entered my life, this strange woman I carry inside

But Christ, I’ve never been so cruel in all my life

She knew my deepest thoughts

When nothing had been said

Like a five-year-old child she held me as I bled

And she said:

Chorus: You’re so isolated

            But you have been created

To love, my beautiful, so sensitive

           You’re so isolated

           But you have been created

          To love, to love.

 Slow motion picture lights

My heart comes crashing to a stop

Someone cries, siren cries

And we got cops on the roadblock

People on the side lines

I feel like I am on parade

Well if you are gonna go then I’m gonna go

This ain’t no charade

And someone said:

 Chorus: You’re so isolated

            But you have been created

To love, my beautiful, so sensitive

           You’re so isolated

           But you have been created

          To love, to love.
