Christmas 1983 with my kids at Trent

Bianca’s song

Bianca’s Song

Writen by Brant Brown November 1983 Trent U. Trail College Peterborough

Spread your wings

And fly so high

Like a kite of paper – blue

Spread your wings and soar above

The crowd bellow that watches you

In the Updrafts find your freedom

in the currents of the air

As you glide from plain to plain

Leave behind all earthly wares

Spread your wings

And fly to mountains

Seven stories, shining gold

Feel the Power surging upwards,

Your quills caressed by currents

Bare.

And when you reach the top and view

The shining clouds and valleys low

Remember when you first flew

And felt the power cradling you.

And spread your wings

And fly to mountains

Searching for the view so fair

And when you reach your Nirvana

You will meet your freedom there.

So

Spread your wings

And fly so high

Like a kite of paper – blue

Spread your wings and soar above

The crowd bellow that watches you.

Love B
